WHAT: The bachelor of science in nursing program is an online, RN Upward Mobility option.
The program is designed to build on a licensed registered nurse's (ADN) past education and experience. The degree is awarded by South Dakota State University (SDSU) in Brookings, SD.
AVAILABLE AREA: All states served by The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society.

- Nursing and support courses offered online
- All BSN clinical practicum requirements are completed in the student's own community with local agencies and families
- Credit successfully earned from the USD RN program and other accredited ADN nursing programs has
been articulated for transfer to the SDSU BSN program
ACCREDITATION:The SDSU College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate
Nursing Education (CCNE).

TIME TO EARN DEGREE: The BSN degree can be completed in one year full-time or two years part-time (once entry requirements are met).
COST ESTIMATES: Tuition and fees are approved by the South Dakota Board
of Regents effective each May. It is important to discuss an estimated cost with
the advisor.
SCHOLARSHIP/LOANS: You are invited to visit with your center administrator about financial assistance that might be available through local resources. Some states might offer scholarship/grant or loan assistance through the state Board of Nursing or another state government agency.
